Butterfly's and Humming Birds.

So every day this summer that I have stepped into my backyard I have seen a beautiful monarch butterfly...and for some reason every time i see one I think of my grandma Ina... butterfly's weren't her favorite or anything...what she really loved was humming birds...i see those every time i step outside too....I find it very odd yet very comforting at the same time...

Maybe it's a sign or something, but i'm just not sure. It's so weird...

I'm getting that I get to look up the meaning of both of them and start putting the pieces together. Cause appreantly I get to know what they both mean.

I also have always wanted a humming bird tattoo on my shoulder blade to represent my grandma and plus i think they are beautiful. :)


Meanings of both---

HUMMINGBIRD - joy, love an beauty. Hummingbird darts lightly through the world, spreading its message of joy and beauty, and teaching us to appreciate the wonder and magic of everyday existence. It teaches you how to live in joy and peace.


BUTTERFLY - is about transformation. Butterfly fearlessly leaves the safety of its cocoon to meet a new world in a new form, trusting its untried wings to allow it to fly. It is a powerful symbol for anyone who's contemplating or in the midst of a major change. It is about bringing color and joy to our lives, learning to dance with joy as we make those changes in our lives transforming us and our lives.

Wow... I get that both of those represent my life right now.

The butterfly for me meaning that i get to start thinking about what i get to do in life, what my contribution is to this world.

The humming bird...well i have been like a humming bird my whole life. I walk around every day full of joy, and i do my best to share that joy with everyone i come into contact with. So honestly the humming bird thing is no surprise. Lol

Black & White + a Luau

So this holiday weekend has been pretty epic I must say...
Friday night a bunch of us went to sandbar all dress up in our black & white attire.
It was so much fun to get all dolled up and go out and dance with all the girls that i hold so close to my heart.
Saturday night we had the most EPIC Luau party at Shannons' house. We had a DJ, Jungle Juice, Jello Shots and Beer Pong. The night couldn't get any better then that. I was surrounded by new friends and old friends. I love being around people that are so chill. I also love meeting new people. It's one of my favorite things in life. Meeting new people. :)

All i can say is that my weekend was pretty amazing. :)

Have you ever...

Had those days where you just wanna end it? End it all in one swift second? I'm not going to lie...i've had those thoughts a time or two. But have known in my heart never to act on them. As i watched this beautiful, inspiring video or this beautiful woman, I know i get to start saying my contract and creation statement every day, no matter how i feel or how tired I am. I get to look in my mirror and say it 3 times. This woman has inspired me to start doing that again.





My most favorite part of this video is when she says " I am not my body" That hit me right to the core. I am in my perfect body and place right now in my life. God has put me in this body and in the place for a specific reason. I no longer get to question why, i just simply get to BE in the process. Because God knows there are no accidents.

Driving

So a friend of mine posted this video on facebook..and i felt like i got to share it.
It's very graphic and might even make you sick...i know it did me..

No ONE every deserves to go through something like this...sadly things like this happen every day either my people txting and driving, speeding or simply not paying attention.

In my family txting and driving is a big NO NO. We had a family friend pass away from txting and driving...he was driving home while txting his grilfriend and ran head on into a power poll and died instantly.

Please don't txt and drive...what ever the txt says it can't be more important than your life or someone elses life...

I miss...

I miss my mommy....she's been gone for almost a month now..and i miss her. A lot...

You might be wondering why...

Well a couple months ago she had a seizure..and when she fell she broke her collar bone. It was horrible and still some what is... When she first went into the hospital after having the seizure they didn't take care of the broken collar bone how they were supposed to, so in return it got MUCH worse over the weeks after she came home. So after it got much worse she had to have surgery a couple weeks ago and had to have a plate and 6 pins in to fix it. Ugh. It's just been a horrible experience for her and everyone else.

So after she had the surgery she has been staying at my grandparents house with her fiance'. Lately she's been coming home every other day, but it's not enough. I miss her! I want her home for good!!! I know she will come home soon, i'm just being selfish and want her home now. Lol
